Disinterested Attention

This was Rabbie Burns favourite kind of attention in friendship.

We may well benefit from cultivating a healthy disinterest in the thinking mind's resistance to any actual growth or change and, as we sensitise our attention to our internal experience, we may discover it is worthwhile to find a balance of disinterest for this fresh sensitivity too.
