Being in Contact

Nothing much of anything useful happens in personal process without a sense of being in contact. We surely know when it is not there and if we do sense the aliveness of a sense of contact inside . . .  it is unmistakeable and most welcome. There are quite a few important elements to bring up here.
For now ~ it's enough to bring to mind the last time I met a horse and it decided to trust me or not.

The short film opposite was shot in 2016, while training in the Netherlands with René Veugelers and Harriët Teeuw in their way of Children Focusing.

It captures a moment when two people were working ( without talking ) on one piece of paper, finding their sense of being in contact with each other.

There are other activities and art making exercises supporting this practice and I will be sharing a few more of them on these pages in the near future.
